Kings even NWJHL Final

The North West Junior Hockey League Final is now a best of three.

The JDA Kings evened up their series with the Fort St.John Huskies Tuesday night with a 6-3 win in Game 4.

Higson's junior career ends with heartbreaking loss in tie-breaker game

Grande Prairie's Schael Higson played his final Junior hockey game Tuesday night.

The veteran blue liner and his Kelowna Rocket squad fell 5-1 in the tie-breaker game in Kamloops which means the club will not be moving on to the post-season.

Both the Fort St.John Huskies and the JDA Kings will compete at Provincials in Wetaskiwin at the beginning of April.

The North West Junior Hockey League Final will resume Tuesday night at the County Sportsplex as they host the Fort St.John Huskies in Game 4.

After winning Game 1 in overtime, the Kings have dropped back to back games and trail the best of seven series 2-1.
