Second suspect arrested after summer police pursuit

A second man has been charged after an assault and police pursuit last summer.

On July 3, one man was arrested after a break and enter, assault and kidnapping in Grande Prairie that took police on a pursuit that ended near Crooked Creek.

At the time police said they were looking for a second suspect who fled the scene in another vehicle.

That suspect has been identified as 40-year-old Andrew Schurman of Grande Prairie and he has been charged with kidnapping, break and enter, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and mischief.
