Update: Man charged after assault and pursuit, second suspect still at large

Police have charged a man after a break and enter, assault and kidnapping in Grande Prairie Tuesday morning that took police on a pursuit that ended near Crooked Creek.

Kendall Kruger (38) of Clairmont, AB has been charged with:

Kidnapping
Uttering threats
Break and Enter
Operation of a Motor Vehicle While Being Pursued by Police
Mischief under $5000
Carrying a weapon for a dangerous purpose x2
Resist Police Officer

Kruger remains in custody and will appear in court in Grande Prairie on July 9, 2018.

The female passenger who was also arrested at the scene was let go without charges.

RCMP are still looking for a second suspect who fled the scene in another vehicle.
